The Mission of Rising Star Children’s Musical Theatre Troupe is to educate children in all aspects of creating a musical theatre production and see their creation take on a life of its own as they perform the show in a professional theatre. The learning process will be offered in an environment of non-violent communication and respect for the child. Our intention is to educate in an atmosphere of mutual respect and joy.
In other words we want EVERYONE to have a whole lot of fun while learning to excel in the theatrical arts.
Rising Star's objectives are three-fold:
* To thrive as a performing arts companiy comprised of children. The company includes acting, dancing, singing, musical styles, comedy & character acting, set design, and costuming.
* To reach out into our community for financial support to help cover production costs with the goal of offering our workshop at the lowest possible cost to the participants.
* To produce the most professional children's musical theater possible. Our focus is on children as the performers. Our intention is that each production will offer an opportunity for each child to discover a new level of competence, self-esteem and confidence.
To become a part of Rising Star you must first pay the tuition fees. Choose the NEW CAST MEMBER on the pay button and submit your payment. If you have a friend who might also be interested in joining, please have them contact
me. I will give you a $50.00 discount on your child's tuition if your friend signs up. If you have already referred someone who has signed up with us, choose the NEW CAST MEMBER discount for one referral option from the drop down menu
