Do you dream of standing in the spotlight on opening night and hearing the applause of an audience? Do you imagine sharing your dreams with kids just like you who love theater and the performing arts!
 
At Rising Star, performers of all levels -- beginner and advanced -- find their voices on the stage. Our program is for young performers ages 7 - 18. We have now included a young adult program!!
 
We dance, sing, act, & more.  Whether it's your first time on stage or if you've done dozens of performances, you will find something here that excites you and takes you to the next level.
 
You will perform because everyone is cast in a show. You will learn from Directors, Choreographers, and Vocal Coaches who have years of experience motivating and guiding young performers.

Rising Star Performing Arts is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

The Mission of Rising Star is to educate children in all aspects of creating a musical theatre production and see their creation take on a life of its own as they perform the show in a professional theatre.  The learning process will be offered in an environment of compassionate communication and respect for the child. Our intention is to educate in an atmosphere of mutual respect and joy.

In other words we want EVERYONE to have a whole lot of fun while learning to excel in the theatrical arts. 

Rising Star's objectives are three-fold:

    * To thrive as a performing arts company comprised of children. The company includes acting, dancing, singing, musical styles, comedy & character acting, set design, and costuming.  

    * To reach out into our community for financial support to help cover production costs with the goal of offering our workshop at the lowest possible cost to the participants.  
   
     * To produce the most professional children's musical theater possible. Our focus is on children as the performers. 

Our intention is that each production will offer an opportunity for each child to discover a new level of competence, self-esteem and confidence.
 
RISING STAR'S LONG TERM GOALS

   * Own our very own theatre space and rehearsal facility
   * Offer our program FREE to children who are interested in Musical Theatre
   * Develop more Music & Theatre programs for school children (We are now at Kester Elementary!)
   * Offer all types of music training to children including; voice, dance, acting, yoga,                     Alexander Technique, Pilates, piano, band training, rock band, studio experience and more.
