ROBIN HOOD: THE UNTOLD STORY
You may have thought you knew the story of Robin Hood, but in this zany new musical take on the old legend you'll learn what really happened! A series of misunderstandings leads villagers to consider the petty thief Robin Hood an altruistic hero, and they pledge themselves to doing his bidding. Robin goes along for selfish motives, complicated by a budding romance with Marian. When the Sheriff of Nottingham grabs Marian to bait Robin into capture, Robin's decidedly unheroic nature is exposed. Robin attempts to make it up to an imprisoned Marian, the disenchanted Merry Men, and the still-hungry local serfs. Robin effects an escape for Marian, and then risks all in a swordfight with the Sheriff. Goodness triumphs and, at Robin and Marian's wedding banquet, the stolen riches are handed out to the serfs as party favors.
